United Mission to Develop Nepal (UMD-Nepal) is a non-profit, non-religious, and non-political organization dedicated to fostering sustainable development within marginalized communities in Nepal. Founded amidst the turbulence of Nepal's civil conflict, UMD-Nepal formed to address critical shortages in education, healthcare, and women's rights. With a mission to empower women, youth, and children, the organization mobilizes national and international volunteers to deliver impactful educational programs and community training.

UMD-Nepal’s key initiatives include the Integrated Resource Center, which supports education and vocational training, and the Stationery Bank Scheme, aimed at providing essential supplies to students. Additionally, the organization engages in health and environmental conservation projects, sports training, and various empowerment initiatives. Following the devastating 2015 earthquake, UMD-Nepal has intensified its humanitarian efforts to support affected communities.
