Uncommon Threads Studio is an independent jewelry and textile studio founded by metalsmith and designer Randi Chervitz, who has been creating handmade work since 1991. Each jewelry piece is formed by hand in sterling silver, 18K gold, or mixed metals, with designs that are individually made and never exactly alike. The studio is especially known for Chervitz’s distinctive hand-crocheted metalwork technique, developed over more than three decades, alongside hand-forged details and one-of-a-kind designs.
Collections span earrings, bracelets, necklaces, rings, and brooches, with styles ranging from modern pearls and nature-inspired pieces to mixed-metal designs, modern primitives, and jewelry created with men in mind. The studio also offers custom design, with consultations and a gallery of past commissions to help customers explore possibilities. Hand-dyed textile pieces are individually tied, making each one unique as well.
