Underground Fitness & Self-Defense is a martial arts and fitness academy based in Jacksonville, Florida, with two local locations and online training options. The school describes its approach as a Montessori-inspired martial arts experience, welcoming students from age three and adapting instruction to different ages and skill levels. Led by Masters Christopher Williams and Benjamin LaMasters, who have a combined 50 years of experience, the academy aims to build strength, mobility, discipline, focus, and confidence.

Programs include Minjas classes for ages three to six, children’s classes for ages six to twelve, and adult training for ages thirteen and up. Lessons combine movement and character development, while adult classes also cover practical self-defense and fitness. Soft Training Tai Chi offers mobility, balance, breathing, and stress-relief practice, including options suited to older adults and people with mobility limitations. Students can also choose private lessons tailored to individual goals or Unleashed Fitness, a coached program featuring weights, cardio, and endurance work.
