Under the Nut Tree is a fire-cooked supper club based on the historic Kentchurch Estate in the Herefordshire hills. Run by Simon and Carolina, it welcomes diners on Friday and Saturday evenings for a shared meal centred on open-flame cooking, warm hospitality and the estate’s atmospheric setting. Guests gather around fire pits and candlelight while the food is prepared on grills and smokers, including Simon’s signature grill, The Beast. Menus change weekly and highlight local, seasonal ingredients, with generous cuts of meat, fire-roasted vegetables and desserts. A set supper is offered at £65 per person, while a Tomahawk night takes place on the last weekend of each month for £80 per person.
The brand also caters weddings, celebrations and private occasions off-site, or can create a bespoke event at the farm. Gift certificates are available for dining experiences. Beyond food, Under the Nut Tree designs and commissions handmade, one-of-a-kind architectural grills in collaboration with sculptor Matt Sanderson.
