Underwater Safety Programs

Underwater Safety Programs is a marine environmental consultancy focused on helping marinas manage their environmental impact and build more sustainable, resilient operations. Its SEAM (Smart Environment Adaptive Management) approach combines ecological expertise, technology and adaptive planning to respond to changing environmental conditions, regulations and user expectations.

The company offers environmental diagnostics, regulatory compliance support and eco-innovation services. Its assessments examine biodiversity, ecological quality, human pressures and invasive species across ports and nearby marine areas, using indicator species and environmental data to identify risks and opportunities. Underwater Safety Programs also helps marinas interpret and meet international, European and national requirements, and develop pollution prevention and environmental improvement plans.

Through SEAM, the company supports smart-port solutions for energy and water management, nautical waste reduction, water-quality monitoring, marine habitat restoration and more sustainable port operations. Additional services include climate vulnerability studies, impact forecasts, adaptation plans, pollution assessment and mitigation, and environmental training and prevention.
