Unexpected Journey

Unexpected Journey is a parent coaching practice that helps families navigate parenting challenges and build stronger connections with their children. Led by Jeannette, a PCI™ certified parent coach and advocate, the practice offers a safe, neuro-affirming, non-judgmental space where parents can explore their strengths and work toward meaningful goals. Coaching uses reflective inquiry and motivational interviewing to help families develop practical strategies tailored to their circumstances.

Services include individual and partner coaching, group coaching, and consultation. Individual or partner sessions focus on current challenges, family strengths, a shared vision, and steps toward specific goals; partners may include a spouse, grandparent, or child. Group coaching brings six to eight parents together in a structured program, while each family develops its own strategy. Consultation supports families seeking to understand autism, ADHD, and neuro-affirming practices. The practice also offers tune-up sessions for previous clients and welcomes eligible FSSP, ASD, and CES grant funding for coaching or tune-ups.
