Unicakery

Unicakery is a baking studio based at 102 Abercromby Street in Port of Spain, founded by pastry chef Naomi Anderson. Started in 2017 with seasonal sales and cakes and cupcakes for friends and family, the business has grown into a multipurpose space for baking education and creative desserts.

The studio offers three certified courses designed to develop technical baking skills and creative confidence. Its hands-on training includes cake artistry and cake and confectionery techniques, with practical instruction in areas such as buttercream, fondant, decorating, flavour development and baking science. Unicakery also runs workshops for bakers at different experience levels, and supports students through mentorship, an alumni community and business guidance.

For celebrations and gatherings, customers can order vibrant, personality-filled desserts, including cakes and cupcakes, for collection at the studio’s location. The Bake Club, a bi-weekly gathering inspired by Unicakery’s baking community, brings people together to bake. Through courses, workshops, orders and community events, Unicakery serves aspiring bakers, developing professionals and dessert lovers.
