Unified Shredders

Unified Shredders is a youth-focused organization based in Grand County, Colorado, dedicated to making snow sports and outdoor recreation more accessible. Through inclusive, mentorship-based programs, it connects underserved young people with snowboarding, positive peer relationships, and supportive adults, helping participants build confidence, resilience, and a sense of community. The organization provides free snowboarding experiences and is expanding its program to include skiing and summer opportunities for students in grades 7–12.

It also works to remove practical barriers to participation, including transportation, and is growing its team of trained mentors as it serves more students. Partnerships and community support help Unified Shredders provide safe, reliable rides to Winter Park Resort and strengthen its programming. The organization emphasizes dignity, equal opportunity, and a welcoming environment for participants, volunteers, staff, and partners.

Its website also features an online shop, a newsletter, and opportunities to donate, volunteer, or become a mentor. With its focus on access, outdoor adventure, and long-term youth development, Unified Shredders aims to help young people thrive on and off the slopes
