Unikat-Werk

Unikat-Werk, also known as Bike-Project, is the workshop of Udo Kohse, who has built custom motorcycles since 1997. The business expanded its name to Unikat-Werk in late 2017 to reflect its broader work in traditional coachbuilding and metal fabrication. Based in Nauheim in the Rhine-Main region, the workshop specializes in Harley-Davidson motorcycles and classic sheet-metal craftsmanship.

Unikat-Werk designs and hand-builds motorcycles to suit individual customer requests, with each project made as a one-off creation. Its services also include a wide range of Harley-Davidson modifications, custom tank and frame construction, and the fabrication of parts for classic cars. Using specialist tools, including some made for the workshop, Udo Kohse can shape individual sheet-metal components such as doors, fenders, hoods, motorcycle mudguards and tanks, as well as complete vehicle bodies. The business combines traditional techniques with tailored, hands-on work, offering customers distinctive motorcycles and bespoke metalwork rather than standard, mass-produced products. Its projects reflect a focus on personal design, skilled fabrication and individually crafted results.
