Unikum Assisi Restaurant

Unikum is an Italian restaurant in Santa Maria degli Angeli, near the Basilica, in the Assisi area. Founded by chefs Nicolas and Lucia, a couple who met in France, the restaurant brings together their different cultural backgrounds and experience in restaurants led by Michelin-starred chefs in Italy and abroad. Since opening on 20 July 2024, Unikum has focused on creating a high-quality dining experience rooted in carefully selected ingredients and the chefs’ approach to flavour.

The menu features distinctive combinations and dishes that reflect seasonal availability. Examples include a chef-selected mix of herbs, citrus and vegetables; potato gnocchi with scorpionfish and peppers; and crispy locally produced suckling pig served with varied root vegetables and tubers, including truffle. The restaurant invites guests to explore its menu, read reviews and book a table. Unikum is located at Via Patrono d’Italia 12 and serves lunch and dinner Tuesday through Sunday; it is closed on Mondays. Reservations are available by phone.
