Union des Pêcheurs Amiénois (UPA) is an approved association for fishing and the protection of aquatic environments, established in 1970 through the merger of three Amiens fishing societies: Les Menus Frétins, La Ligne Picarde and La Gaule Amiénoise. Its team provides information and services for local anglers, with details on fishing hours, 2026 prices and where to obtain fishing permits in Amiens and nearby communities.
The association shares practical guidance on fishing locations, including ponds and river sections around Amiens, Argoeuves, Glisy, Dreuil-lès-Amiens and Lamotte-Brebière. Its website also provides regulations and annual notices, including rules for night carp fishing, junior anglers and trout fishing. UPA publishes information about fish restocking, including its 2026 trout program, and lists carp-fishing posts and other fishing areas.
Anglers can find details of UPA competitions, such as carp and predator-fishing events, as well as its championship activities. The association also promotes environmental stewardship through local cleanup initiatives, including river and regional cleanups. Its postal address is in Albert, France.
