Union Street Tavern Trot

Union Street Tavern Trot is an annual community road and trail race held in historic Windsor center, Connecticut. Presented by Silvester Space Services, the event welcomes runners and walkers to take part in a 3.5-mile course, rain or shine. The Trot is USATF-certified and serves as a Manchester Road Race qualifier, combining a local athletic challenge with a charitable purpose: proceeds benefit Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, a national organization supporting childhood cancer research.

Alongside the race, the event offers an after-party featuring live performances by The Guitar Dudes and Savage Brothers, making it a celebration for participants and the wider community. The website provides race information, registration, results, forms, galleries, and details about sponsors. It also invites individuals and organizations to support the event through donations and sponsorships, and offers a newsletter for updates. Registration fees vary by timing, with early entry available before the standard and race-day rates. The Trot’s welcoming format, entertainment, and fundraising focus bring together fitness, community involvement, and support for research.
