The United Horse Coalition (UHC) is dedicated to aiding at-risk and transitioning horses through education and support services. Established from the Unwanted Horse Summit in 2005, UHC collaborates with various equine organizations to address the challenges faced by these horses. The coalition focuses on educating current and potential horse owners on responsible ownership practices, advocating humane treatment for horses, and raising awareness about at-risk horses in the industry.
UHC offers resources such as webinars, educational materials, and equine emergency preparedness information for horse owners, rescues, and prospective owners. By promoting industry collaboration and responsible ownership, UHC aims to reduce the number of at-risk horses and provide options for their well-being. Join the cause by supporting UHC through donations or becoming a member to help further their mission of ensuring the welfare of horses in need
