Unity for Animals (UFA) is a dedicated 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Memphis, Tennessee, focused on providing a safe haven for dogs and cats in need. UFA operates as a transitional foster house, offering shelter and care until these animals can be connected with permanent homes or rescues. Founded in 2016 by Fabiola Francis, UFA not only addresses the urgent needs of abandoned animals but also strives to combat urban blight, particularly in areas with at-risk communities.

Through community outreach, UFA organizes campaigns to raise awareness about the importance of spaying, neutering, and responsible pet ownership. They provide resources for affordable spay and neuter services and educate the public on humane alternatives to pet surrender. UFA empowers local children to become advocates for animal welfare, reinforcing their commitment to social and community development. Having sheltered over 70 animals in its journey, Unity for Animals continues to make significant strides toward a future where no healthy animal faces euthanasia due to space constraints.
