Unity Lactation

Unity Lactation & Collaborative provides lactation consulting, education, and community outreach for families in Williamsport and Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. Founded by Rebecca Leese, a registered nurse and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), the organization offers compassionate, evidence-based support tailored to each family’s needs and feeding goals.

Services include prenatal consultations, breast/chestfeeding consultations, pumping and bottle-feeding guidance, breast pump flange fittings, and follow-up support. The team assists with concerns such as latch difficulties, nipple or breast pain, engorgement, mastitis, plugged ducts, tongue and lip ties, feeding premature or multiple babies, weaning, relactation, and adoption. Consultations are available in the office, at home, or virtually, with secure messaging support for questions after appointments.

Unity Lactation offers self-pay appointments and provides superbills clients may submit for potential insurance reimbursement. Through the nonprofit Unity Collaborative, low- or no-cost appointments are available to people experiencing financial hardship. The Collaborative also hosts local family education and community events. The center is located at 890 Memorial Avenue in Williamsport, and home visits may involve travel fees.
