Unity Taekwondo Academy

Unity Taekwondo Academy is an independently founded martial arts academy serving Portsmouth and Southampton. Established in 2025, it draws on its instructors’ more than 35 years of Taekwondo practice to offer lessons grounded in experience, knowledge and enthusiasm. The academy welcomes students of all ages and abilities, helping them learn WT Taekwondo alongside martial arts and self-defence skills.

Classes are available at Portsmouth Charters and Southampton Deer Park. Unity presents Taekwondo as a way to develop confidence and be part of a supportive community, with its values expressed as integrity, courtesy, perseverance, self-control and indomitable spirit. Prospective students can book a free lesson, and the academy provides information about class locations, memberships, session prices and frequently asked questions.

The academy also offers club kit ordering, a calendar, and guidance on grading, including who can grade and what to expect. Safeguarding enquiries can be directed to the academy’s safeguarding officer, Master Julie. Unity invites people to join its community and discover the benefits of training and growing together.
