Univention GmbH is a German open-source software company with more than 20 years of experience helping organizations manage digital identities and access. Its solutions serve the education sector, public administration, and businesses, supporting secure, flexible IT environments that remain under customers’ control. The company’s flagship product, Nubus, provides centralized identity and access management, including user and group administration, role-based permissions, single sign-on, and support for multi-factor authentication. It helps automate user onboarding and offboarding and connects people with applications through a central portal.

Nubus integrates with more than 60 applications and supports open standards and interfaces such as OIDC, SAML, LDAP, and REST.
