UNOC3, or the 3rd United Nations Ocean Conference, is a significant global event co-hosted by France and Costa Rica, set to take place in Nice from June 9 to June 13, 2025. Interactive dialogues, known as Ocean Action Panels, will facilitate collaboration among stakeholders to develop actionable solutions. Outcomes from the conference will be encapsulated in the Nice Ocean Action Plan, which will outline political declarations and voluntary commitments aimed at enhancing ocean protection, mobilizing financial resources, and improving marine science knowledge for better policymaking.
