El Paseo por los Puertos is a hiking and nature-tourism project offering ways to explore the Beceite Ports, between the Matarranya region and Tinença de Benifassà. Inspired by Lorenzo Grafulla’s account of a historic journey by botanists Francisco Loscos Bernal and José Pardo Sastrón, the experience connects the area’s landscapes with its botanical, cultural and local history. Routes invite visitors to travel at an unhurried pace through mountains, forests, villages and former rural settlements, discovering the natural environment and the stories of the people who lived there.

Visitors can choose from several formats: the original four-stage route, available for self-guided travel; a two-stage guided hiking experience; and a two-stage self-guided trail-running itinerary. The site also features a seven-stage Els Ports 100 Milles option, alongside route information, a calendar, photo gallery, accommodation listings and booking details. Guided outings and group events are promoted through the project’s news and diary. El Paseo por los Puertos is designed for visitors seeking an active outdoor journey enriched by historical interpretation and an appreciation of the region’s natural heritage.
