About Unrepresented Nations and Peoples Organization
Unpo is an international movement and organization dedicated to empowering the voices of unrepresented and marginalized peoples worldwide. The brand aims to protect their rights to self-determination and provide them with a platform for civil and political participation. The organization consists of a General Assembly and several Foundations that work towards improving the rights of unrepresented peoples through research, education, and public campaigns.
Unpo is unique in that it is primarily funded by its members, which allows it the freedom to raise issues that other organizations may not be able to due to political or funding constraints. Their members, comprising over 45 peoples worldwide, lack equal representation in national or international institutions. Through their efforts, Unpo strives to address exclusion and ensure sustainable empowerment for these communities.
With a strong connection to those suffering from exclusion, Unpo works towards creating a more inclusive and just world. Their mission is to support the self-determination of unrepresented peoples and advocate for their rights on the global stage. With an extensive history and a growing membership, Unpo remains committed to its vision of a world where all voices are heard and valued
