Unsere krasse Herde

Unsere Krasse Herde e.V. is a small animal-welfare association based in Litzlwalchen, near Nußdorf and Traunstein in Upper Bavaria, Germany. It helps animals in need, focusing especially on elderly, disabled and chronically ill animals. Its goal is to give them a permanent home and integrate them into its herd; another suitable placement is sought only when capacity or group compatibility requires it.

The association cares for horses, ponies, dogs, cats, rabbits and guinea pigs. Its animal refuge includes dedicated facilities for cats, horses and small animals. From June through September, it offers seasonal holiday boarding for rabbits and guinea pigs, with separate accommodation available for multiple groups. Children of primary-school age and older can join scheduled 90-minute pony-care sessions, which include walks, grooming, feeding and basic groundwork. Session fees support the association’s work.

People can help through volunteering, monetary donations, gifts of feed and supplies, supporting memberships or animal sponsorships. The organization also welcomes practical assistance with daily animal care and property upkeep.
