The Arbeitsgemeinschaft Dermatologische Prävention (ADP) e.V. is a German association of experts from different fields of prevention, focused on primary prevention and early detection of skin cancer. Its aim is to make dermatological prevention more widely understood among the public, doctors and researchers. To support this work, the ADP conducts scientific projects and practical interventions, and collaborates with other organisations active in prevention.

The association provides accessible information about skin health, including skin types, common skin conditions and different forms of skin cancer. Its resources also cover ultraviolet radiation, sun protection, children and sun exposure, risk factors, skin cancer screening and self-examination, as well as the risks and regulation of solarium use. The ADP develops and shares educational materials and supports initiatives that encourage safer behaviour in the sun. Its website features project information, news, a blog, a podcast and guidance for the public and professionals. The ADP is also a member of the UV Protection Alliance initiated by Germany’s Federal Office for Radiation Protection and works with partners on public awareness activities.
