UPACE San Fernando

UPACE San Fernando, the Union of Cerebral Palsy of San Fernando, is a private, nonprofit association established in 1978 by families seeking support for people with cerebral palsy. Recognised as being of public utility, it works to improve quality of life, promote inclusion and help people with cerebral palsy and related disabilities participate in community life. Its services reach people from birth through adulthood across the Bay of Cádiz, parts of La Janda and the Costa Noroeste.

The association provides comprehensive support through a network of educational, residential, day and early-intervention centres. Its offerings include special education, occupational and daytime programmes, residential care, early assessment and intervention, and functional medical treatment. Additional services include family guidance and intervention, adaptations, respite and family support, adapted transport, adapted sport, meals, and leisure activities. Together, these services address rehabilitation, learning, socialisation, daily support and opportunities for participation and occupation. UPACE also shares organisational and financial information, invites people to volunteer or become members, and welcomes donations to support its work.
