UP Beta Epsilon is a renowned fraternity that has been a pillar of excellence and service in the UP College of Engineering for 91 years. Established in 1929, UP Beta Epsilon was founded by Hon. Alejandro S.

Melchor and a group of student athletes with the aim of creating an engineering student honor society. Throughout its history, UP Beta Epsilon has remained dedicated to fostering camaraderie and serving both the country and the college. The fraternity has received numerous prestigious awards, including being the sole recipient of the Best Fraternity Award in 2005.

They have also been recognized with the Wenceslao Q. Vinzons Achievement Award for their leadership in civic-spirited campus projects. Furthermore, UP Beta Epsilon has produced an impressive number of outstanding alumni, with 24 of its members being named among the College of Engineering's Top 100 Most Outstanding Alumni.

UP Beta Epsilon continues to uphold its commitment to service through various projects, such as the UP Lagoon Rehabilitation Project and providing aid to the victims of natural disasters. Their continuous dedication to the community led to them being awarded the Gawad Tsanselor Para sa Natatanging Organisasyon na Tumulong sa UP Diliman sa Panahon ng Pandemya in 2021.
