Up-Grade Martial Arts

Up-Grade Martial Arts is a martial arts gym and community education centre in Bexhill, East Sussex, welcoming people of all ages and abilities. Its classes include boxing, kickboxing, Brazilian jiu-jitsu and MMA, with sessions designed for beginners, experienced practitioners and those interested in competition. Children’s programmes cater to different age groups, from toddlers to teenagers, and include a fusion class for children with special educational needs. Adult and mixed classes are also available, alongside circuits and personal training in one-to-one or small-group formats.

The gym aims to help members improve fitness, build confidence and self-esteem, and develop practical self-defence skills. Its instructors are experienced fighters who have competed successfully at high levels, and the club says they support members in working towards their individual goals. Up-Grade Martial Arts describes itself as a friendly, approachable community, not just a fight centre. Class prices start at £6 per session or £22 per month. The brand also sells merchandise, including clothing and training equipment, for members and supporters.
