The University Press Limited (UPL) is a leading publisher in Bangladesh, specializing in educational, academic, and scholarly books in both English and Bangla. Established in 1974, UPL assumed OUP's publishing program in Bangladesh the following year and has since enjoyed a close collaboration with OUP Oxford and its branches in Pakistan and India. In addition to its own publications, UPL also distributes books from foreign publishers within Bangladesh.
With over 800 titles published to date, including approximately 600 currently available titles, UPL maintains an ongoing publishing program of around 50 titles annually.
