About Upozpraha
Troja and Měcholupy Animal Shelters in Prague serve as crucial havens for abandoned animals. Operated by the City Police of Prague, these shelters prioritize the care of pets and livestock, ensuring they are safe and well-treated. Located at V Zámcích 56 in Prague 8 for Troja and Dolnoměcholupská 58/27 for Měcholupy, these facilities operate from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, and weekends from 12 PM to 5 PM.
The shelters not only provide a safe environment for rescues but also facilitate adoptions, guiding interested individuals through the adoption process. They cater exclusively to pets and domestic livestock, while wildlife rescue efforts fall under different jurisdiction. Additionally, both shelters host tours, allowing potential adopters to meet and interact with animals in need.
Through their comprehensive services, including microchipping and care management, Troja and Měcholupy Animal Shelters aim to foster a community of responsible pet ownership and care in Prague. Contact them at 222 025 917 for Troja and 222 025 929 for Měcholupy for more information.
