About جمعية الصعيد
Upper Egypt Association is a registered public central association aiming to uplift the less fortunate in Upper Egypt. Established in 1940 by Father Henri Ayrout, the association focuses on education, health, cultural development, skill-building, and microfinance. Serving around 75,000 beneficiaries annually across 500 villages in Minya, Asyut, Sohag, Qena, and Luxor, their mission is to empower local communities, particularly the poor, through quality educational and developmental programs.
