Upper Hand Monitoring's

Upper Hand is an independent cruise price-monitoring service launching with Norwegian Cruise Line. It helps eligible travelers check whether the fare for their booked cabin drops and prepares a request package they can send to Norwegian or forward to their travel agent. For $69 per booking, Upper Hand monitors the same ship, sailing, stateroom grade, fare type, promotions, and guest count daily, from registration until seven days before sailing.

Customers receive documented price proof and a ready-to-send request when a matching lower fare is found. Its $69 Price-Drop Discovery Guarantee promises a refund if Upper Hand does not find and document a matching lower advertised fare of at least $69 during the monitoring period. Norwegian makes all decisions about fare adjustments, which may take the form of a lower fare, onboard or future cruise credit, or an upgrade.

At launch, the service supports Norwegian bookings for two to four adults sharing one cabin; bookings with children, solo cabins, or five or more guests are not yet eligible
