Uppsala Systemvetare

Uppsala Systemvetare is the association for students of information systems at Uppsala University. It represents students across the subject area and provides opportunities to take part in student life, engage with the education, and connect with potential future employers. The association organises activities including formal student dinners, known as gasques, and an introduction programme for new students. Its committees cover areas such as events, education, business relations, IT, communications, sport, and master’s students, giving members ways to contribute to the community and influence their studies.

The association also shares information about the university’s information systems education, including independent courses and bachelor’s and master’s programmes, as well as study support and student experiences. Its website features event announcements, association news and meeting minutes, and a podcast. Uppsala Systemvetare presents information about the field, which combines technology and programming with understanding organisations and their needs. The association also invites companies to make contact and explore partnership opportunities.
