However, it is our children's picture books that truly set us apart. We also have a strong presence in the sports genre, published under the Mower imprint. In addition to the domestic market, we have export agents in the UK, North America, and Australia.

Moreover, we license rights to other publishers, who release our books under their own imprints. Founded in 2013 by industry veterans Kevin Chapman, Patricia Dunmore, and Warren Adler, Upstart Press acquired New Holland New Zealand in 2022, expanding our reach with the White Cloud Books imprint. We offer warehousing and distribution services to 11 other NZ publishers and act as a distributor for international publishers as well
