Upward Foundation is a Nonprofit Organization that is dedicated to improving the lives of children and families with special needs. With a history of over 50 years, Upward has been committed to a powerful purpose - to look beyond a child's disability, recognize their unique abilities, and do everything possible to ensure their thriving. Upward accomplishes this through education, therapy, and loving care.
As one of the primary providers of special education, therapy, and childcare for children with severe disabilities in the Valley school districts, Upward has made a significant impact in the community. Upward receives financial support from various sources, such as the Valley of the Sun United Way, the Arizona Department of Economic Security, Division of Developmental Disabilities, local school districts, and generous contributions from individuals like you. Additionally, Upward is grateful for the support of Value Village Thrift Stores, with a generous portion of their proceeds going to the foundation
