The University of Rwanda (UR) is a public research university focused on education, learning and research in support of Rwanda’s development. It brings together seven colleges and offers 202 undergraduate programmes and 242 postgraduate programmes, including master’s and doctoral study. The university serves a student population of more than 33,000, with dedicated programmes for thousands of master’s students and hundreds of PhD candidates.
