Urban is a cutting-edge brand that has launched the world's first fully operational Urban-Air Port for drones and electric vertical take-off & landing (eVTOL) aircraft. Located in Coventry, the 2021 UK City of Culture, Air One aims to revolutionize transportation by showcasing the potential of Advanced Air Mobility (AAM). Over 100 successful drone flights were demonstrated during the launch, captivating an audience of 15,000 visitors, including global businesses, government officials, and the general public.

Supported by the UK Government’s Future Flight Challenge program, Air One serves as a demonstrator to highlight how purpose-built ground infrastructure can decarbonize transport, reduce air pollution and congestion, and provide seamless passenger journeys and deliveries. In addition to witnessing live drone flights and eVTOL charging, visitors experienced the brand's non-aeronautical revenue offerings, including a fully working café, automated vending machines, and a retail brand showcase. Urban-Air Port's vision extends beyond just transportation, as they have partnered with global retail brands to offer a world-class customer experience.

Visitors to Air One had the opportunity to shop at the Urban-Air Café and enjoy automated vending machines. These offerings, branded as Urban-Air Choice, allow Air One to tap into the non-aeronautical revenue potential of Urban Air Mobility.
