Urban Imports Ltd

Urban Imports is a vehicle sourcing and import service connecting customers in New Zealand and Australia with Japanese car auctions. Established in 2017, the business has evolved from an import-to-order service into a platform offering direct access to live auctions, alongside a dedicated team of automotive enthusiasts with more than nine years of industry experience. Customers can browse a selection of more than 500,000 vehicles auctioned monthly, from everyday cars to performance models and supercars, and import a vehicle to suit their budget and specifications.

Urban Imports translates and interprets auction sheets, including grades, damage reports, inspector notes and repair history, to help customers make informed decisions before bidding. Buyers can bid themselves or request a managed sourcing and bidding service. The team also coordinates shipping, documentation, compliance guidance and transport, with transparent estimates of total landed costs. A refundable deposit is required to activate bidding and is credited toward a successful purchase.
