Urban Reptile Removal

Urban Reptile Removal is a licensed reptile removal service operating across Greater Sydney and the Central Coast. Available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, the team responds to calls involving snakes and other reptiles at homes, schools, workplaces and building sites. Licensed catchers safely capture and relocate animals in accordance with NSW licence conditions.

Founded by Chris Williams, the business draws on his experience with Australian reptiles dating back to 1989, including work at Taronga Zoo and the Australian Reptile Park. Williams has also contributed to books about Australian reptiles and led the Australian Herpetological Society as president since 2014. Urban Reptile Removal operates alongside its sister brand, Sydney Snake Catcher.

The service handles commonly encountered local species, including red-bellied black snakes, eastern brown snakes, diamond pythons, green tree snakes and blue-tongued lizards. The website also provides information about Sydney’s reptiles, what to do when one is spotted, where animals may hide, and practical ways to reduce encounters. For urgent assistance, customers can call the business directly.
