Urban Rigger brings new life to undeveloped areas by livening the waterfront with flexible, floating architecture. Urban Rigger is designed by BIG|Bjarke Ingels Group and have 72 apartments in the harbour of Copenhagen. We helped transform a largely undeveloped area just 10 minutes from Copenhagen’s downtown city center into a vibrant student housing community. By bringing life to water, Urban Rigger contributes to a better tomorrow – enabling comfortable, connected, and conscious living in the heart of our cities. It’s more than a place to live and work; it’s a lifestyle uniquely empowered by its relationship to water. Urban Rigger is a patented and scalable concept in a market with an increasing demand for urban affordable housing and can be located anywhere with water access.
