The Urega Foundation is a brand dedicated to empowering and supporting talented youths from disadvantaged backgrounds in Cameroon. Through their scholarship program, they aim to identify, select, and uplift high-achieving, low-income students who are currently in high school, and who possess the qualities of courage, empathy, humility, ambition, maturity, and passion. These youths have overcome extenuating life circumstances and obstacles, fueling their desire for a better education and enabling them to excel and complete their education.

The Urega Foundation provides comprehensive support to their scholars. Financially, they offer a stipend of up to $300 or FCFA 200,000 to cover educational expenses. Furthermore, each scholar is paired with a Urega Mentor who assists them with academic and personal challenges.

The foundation also develops academic and extra-curricular initiatives, fostering an environment where scholars can succeed academically and explore new opportunities. By supporting the next generation of African artists, scientists, teachers, and change-makers, The Urega Foundation believes that success is personal and the path to achieving it is not linear.
