Urenco USA

Urenco is an international supplier of uranium enrichment services and fuel cycle products for the civil nuclear industry, serving utility customers worldwide. In the United States, Urenco operates the National Enrichment Facility, producing low-enriched uranium for nuclear fuel. Its gas centrifuge technology supports the supply of fuel used to generate nuclear electricity, and the company reports that its U.S. operations meet about one-third of national demand for low-enriched uranium.

Urenco USA is expanding its enrichment capacity, with new centrifuge cascades entering production and further installations planned. The company is also preparing for cascade refurbishment and a larger, multi-year facility expansion intended to strengthen reliable fuel supply for customers. Alongside enrichment services, its offerings include advanced fuels. The website also provides a separative work unit calculator and information about the nuclear fuel cycle and enrichment process.

Urenco USA highlights safety, dependable customer deliveries, sustainability, and community involvement. Its local initiatives include sponsorships, donations, student scholarships, science workshops, and employee volunteering.
