USA Deaf Volleyball (USADVB) is the national governing body for volleyball in the United States for deaf and hard of hearing athletes. Established in 1981, the nonprofit organization supports men, women, and youth in developing their skills and competing at the highest levels. Its history reaches back to 1969, when volleyball first became a Deaflympic sport and the United States sent a team to the Summer Games; U.S. volleyball teams have competed at every Summer Games since.
USADVB organizes year-round training programs and local, regional, and national tournaments, helping athletes participate and progress in the sport. Its national teams represent the United States at the Pan American Games, international indoor and beach deaf volleyball championships, and the Deaflympics. The organization also provides information about tryouts, youth events, volleyball camps, and its teams, alongside resources such as bylaws and fundraising guidelines.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and affiliate of the USA Deaf Sports Federation, USADVB welcomes community and donor support to strengthen its athletes and sustain the organization.
