The United States Bomb Technician Association (USBTA) is a nonprofit public charity established in 2016 to address the needs of bomb disposal technicians in the United States. With headquarters in Denver, Colorado, and an office in Indian Head, Maryland, USBTA focuses on providing training opportunities with emerging technologies and fostering the exchange of resources and ideas among bomb disposal specialists, academics, innovators, and industry partners. USBTA offers a unique combination of trade shows and hands-on scenario-based training called Technology Training Events (TTEs).

These events, held across the country, give bomb disposal technicians the chance to test new equipment and provide valuable feedback. USBTA is committed to supporting its members and the community through financial assistance, training scholarships, employment transition aid, and memorial recognition for fallen comrades. In response to COVID-19, USBTA has implemented a Remote Training Program, delivering training sessions via Microsoft Teams to ensure the safety and compliance with CDC guidelines.

Additionally, USBTA seeks community partnerships with industry professionals to learn from and support bomb technicians on the ground.
