About U.S. Climate Alliance
The U. S. Climate Alliance is a bipartisan coalition of 25 governors who are dedicated to securing America's net-zero future by advancing state-led, high-impact climate action.
With 55% of the U. S. The alliance members are committed to achieving the goals of the Paris Agreement, and they work together to develop and implement effective climate policies and regulations.
The U. S. Climate Alliance prioritizes various key policy areas including GHG targets and governance, buildings, climate finance, electricity generation, industry, just transition and equity, natural and working lands, pricing carbon and valuing damages, resilience, and transportation.
They aim to address these areas through innovative and impactful policies that contribute to reducing greenhouse gas emissions, increasing renewable energy usage, and promoting climate resilience. The alliance also supports its members through the Alliance Secretariat, which provides technical assistance, policy guidance, and resources to help accelerate high-impact climate action.
