US Climate & Health

The US Climate and Health Alliance is a dedicated national network uniting health and public health practitioners to confront the pressing issues of climate change and its impact on human health. Their mission is to address climate change as a significant health crisis, advocating for informed solutions through comprehensive state policy initiatives, and providing resources for renewable energy, energy efficiency, and urban greening.

The organization fosters collaboration among health professionals, promoting advocacy tools and educational resources that empower members to enact change within their communities. Through workgroups and steering committees, the Alliance develops frameworks for action on critical topics such as transportation, food systems, and fossil fuel extraction.

The Alliance also promotes awareness through events, news releases, and blogs, showcasing important findings from reports like the Lancet Countdown, which evaluate the intersection of climate action and public health. By joining the US Climate and Health Alliance, members collaborate to embrace climate solutions that not only mitigate risks but also enhance overall community health and wellbeing.
