The uploader supports drag-and-drop, file selection, and imports from Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, and Box. Users can also add files through camera and screen capture, audio recording, or URL links. For storage, upup connects to S3-compatible services including AWS S3, Cloudflare R2, MinIO, Backblaze B2, and Wasabi, as well as Azure Blob Storage in client mode. Optional server mode supports signed uploads through adapters for Express, Fastify, Hono, and Next.js.

Additional capabilities include previews, progress tracking, retries, resumable uploads, crash recovery, image compression, and optional HEIC-to-JPEG conversion.
