The Ukrainian Startup Fund (UFS) is a governmental institution established in 2018 aimed at fostering innovation and supporting technology startups in Ukraine. It plays a pivotal role in enhancing the startup ecosystem, facilitating access to funding for early-stage projects, and promoting a positive investment image for Ukraine's tech industry on the global stage. The Fund has launched several key programs: grant initiatives offering between $25,000 and $50,000 for pre-seed and seed stage teams, acceleration programs providing up to $10,000 for training, and support for projects that enhance national defense.

With a strong commitment to innovation, UFS also runs unique initiatives such as the Seeds of Bravery project focused on deep tech startups and the BRAVE1 defense technology cluster. By collaborating with various partners and deploying substantial resources, including a €1 million Startup EDGE grant program in 2026, UFS is dedicated to empowering Ukrainian entrepreneurs and shaping the future of technology in the country
