About United States Hispanic Leadership Institute
The United States Hispanic Leadership Institute (USHLI) is an organization dedicated to promoting education and leadership development among Latinos and other disenfranchised groups. With a mission to fulfill the promises and principles of democracy, USHLI empowers individuals through civic engagement, research, and maximizing participation in the electoral process. Over the past 40 years, USHLI has made a significant impact, training over 1,025,000 leaders and awarding more than $1.
5 million in scholarships and internships. The organization has also published numerous reports on Latino demographics, organized 40 national conferences, and registered 2. 3 million voters.
USHLI's commitment to serving underserved communities has been recognized through awards such as the Corazón Award by Univision. As a member of the Hispanic Association for Corporate Responsibility and the National Hispanic Leadership Agenda, USHLI continues to be a driving force in promoting equal opportunities and representation for Latinos in the United States
