US Micro Turbine

United States Micro Turbine, LLC is a small business based in San Francisco, California, that develops, manufactures, and assembles turbojet propulsion systems in the United States. Its featured product, the USMT-400, is a 400-newton (90 lbf) single-spool turbojet designed for expendable and attritable unmanned aircraft. The bench-validated engine is in the component test phase and uses a centrifugal/axial configuration. It is intended for applications including aerial target drones, loitering munitions, decoys, and attritable unmanned aircraft systems.

The USMT-400 runs on Jet A, JP-8, kerosene, or diesel, with fuel-oil premix lubrication. Control and telemetry interfaces include CAN, I²C, UART, and PWM. The company provides detailed performance data, interface control documentation, and engine models to eligible recipients under an executed nondisclosure agreement; export-controlled technical data is restricted.
