About uStepper
The brand originated from a simple question asked by two founders, Thomas and Mogens, during their university training in Denmark: Why doesn't there exist an Arduino compatible stepper driver that can compensate for lost steps? Their experience with CNC machines and 3D printers led them to recognize the issue of lost steps by stepper motors. This sparked the idea for uStepper, and after a process of product development and prototyping, the first batch of uSteppers was successfully launched on Kickstarter in 2015. Since then, uStepper has expanded its functionality and developed various applications, such as the linear actuator and the robot arm, demonstrating its versatility beyond 3D printing and CNC machines.
In 2018, uStepper launched another successful Kickstarter campaign, introducing two new products: the uStepper S and the uStepper S-lite. Every uStepper board is proudly made in Denmark, ensuring the highest quality through local production and thorough testing. The brand also offers customized products, showcasing their capability to design, test, and produce hardware according to specific requirements.
