Ustica Diving Center is a locally managed dive centre in Piazza Umberto I, on the island of Ustica, Sicily. Led by island native Jonathan Cecchinel, the team shares its first-hand knowledge of the island’s coastline and underwater sites with Italian and international visitors. The centre has served divers for more than ten years and welcomes guests from at least 25 countries, with a multilingual staff.
Its services include guided dives, introductory “first dive” experiences, exclusive dives, equipment rental and assistance with finding accommodation. Divers can explore a wide range of sites, including Punta Omo Morto, the Colombara Shoal, Scoglio del Medico and Grotta dei Gamberi. The centre also offers SSI and PADI courses, from beginner training to advanced, rescue, Divemaster, deep-diving and enriched-air qualifications, as well as refreshers.
Ustica Diving Center emphasises responsible tourism, respect for nature and a personal, safety-conscious approach. Beyond diving, its team offers local insight to help visitors enjoy the island above water as well as below.
