About St George Dinosaur Discovery Site
St. George Dinosaur Discovery Site at Johnson Farm is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) museum in St. George, Utah, dedicated to preserving fossils, advancing scientific research, and bringing prehistoric life to the community.
Built around a 200-million-year-old Early Jurassic lake ecosystem, the site protects dinosaur trackways and fossils in the locations where they were found. Visitors can explore real trackways, rare fossils, life-sized models, interactive exhibits, a fossil preparation lab, and an outdoor Dino Park. The museum offers family-friendly visits, scavenger hunts, audio tours, and self-guided materials in multiple languages, as well as curriculum-aligned programs and field trips for educators.
Visitors can also join a guided, three-hour Fossil Discoveries field experience at a nearby quarry. Workshops, community STEM programs, and special events take place throughout the year. The museum welcomes families, travelers, teachers, and researchers, and invites the public to support its work through tickets, memberships, donations, and volunteering.
Admission is available for adults, youth, and seniors, with free entry for children under four
